Our Chicago Discount Digital Coursebooks program offers a 30% discount to students who buy assigned coursebooks directly from Chicago in e-book format, with the possibility of deeper discounts for bulk purchases of e-books made by instructors or institutions on behalf of their students. Purchased directly via Chicago’s website using a simple discount code at checkout, these books are available in PDF or e-pub form using Adobe Digital Editions, our cloud-based e-book reader Biblioviewer, or any Readium LCP-compatible e-reader. 

The Chicago Discount Digital Coursebooks program includes all books published by Chicago that are used in or designed for courses and available as e-books, as well as books meeting those criteria published by the large number of partner publishers whose books we market and sell through our site. While e-book rentals are excluded from the CDDC discount program, the books that are available for rental are already a low-cost alternative to print or e-book purchase for budget-conscious students.
