Idil Atak is professor in the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Among her publications are L’européanisation de la lutte contre la migration irrégulière et les droits humains and, as co-editor with Graham Hudson, Migration, Security, and Resistance. She has served as deputy to the permanent representative of Turkey to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France.
