Robert Bothwell is professor emeritus in the Department of History and the International Relations Program at the University of Toronto. He has published numerous books, including Eldorado: Canada’s National Uranium Company and Nucleus: The History of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited. He also co-authored, with John English and Ian Drummond, Canada 1900–1945 and Canada Since 1945. Among many positions, he has served as editor of the Canadian Historical Review, Fellow of Trinity College, and May Gluskin Chair of History at the University of Toronto, and on the boards of the Ontario Heritage Foundation and the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
