Claire Marie Stancek is the author of Operating Moon, wyrd] bird, Oil Spell, and MOUTHS. Her poetry has been published in journals including Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Tupelo Quarterly, Apogee, Laurel Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, and Oversound. With Daniel Benjamin, she co-edited Active Aesthetics: Contemporary Australian Poetry. With Jane Gregory and the late Lyn Hejinian, she is co-founder and co-editor of Nion Editions, a chapbook press.  She lives in Philadelphia.
